April General Meeting and presentation Flower Arranging Through the Eyes of an Artist
Hospitality at 10 AM followed by Marc Hall who will be doing a flower arrangement demonstration The presentation will be part of our 2026 theme Re-visioning Your Gardens and focused on Flower Arranging Through the Eyes of an Artist. The public is welcome to attend. A short business meeting will follow the presentation.
Please note: Please be aware, in case you are sensitive to pollen, the room will be filled with floral aroma throughout the demonstration.
Village Green & Gardens Spring Cleanup,
Volunteers are needed for light duties including raking, trimming, and pulling early emerging weeds. We will gather at the Village Green on Monday, May 4 at 9:00 am and break into teams to work in the four different areas until 10:30 am. Camden paid parking does not go into effect until Memorial Day, May 25.
If you are new to the Club or gardening in the Mid-Coast, this is a great opportunity to meet members and learn from Master Gardeners. Bring your hand tools, rakes, garden gloves, hats, and water bottles. Home baked muffins will be provided for a carbohydrate boost!

Fernwood Shade Nursery Tour
A tour of Fernwood Shade Nursery is reserved for Club members on June 18th from 1pm – 3pm. Fernwood is a specialty nursery in Montville focusing on native and woodland plants hardy to this area. They have one of the largest collections of shade tolerant plants including hosta, ferns, wildflowers and other choice plants for shade in New England. We will have a private tour with the owner, Denise Miner, who will be pleased to answer all questions about what to purchase, where to place and how to nurture shade plants. You don’t want to miss visiting this artistic and magical place. Additional details to come.
