A tour of Fernwood Shade Nursery is reserved for Club members on June 18th from 1pm – 3pm. Fernwood is a specialty nursery in Montville focusing on native and woodland plants hardy to this area. They have one of the largest collections of shade tolerant plants including hosta, ferns, wildflowers and other choice plants for shade in New England. We will have a private tour with the owner, Denise Miner, who will be pleased to answer all questions about what to purchase, where to place and how to nurture shade plants.
